A humid August 2001 evening sees CSX GP38-2
2746 laying over in Lakehurst. There are times when a lone locomotive
is used on the line. However, I have yet to photograph a locomotive
running long hood forward on the line. |

After cutting some cars, CSX GP40-2 4441
leads a CSX GP38-2 toward the Freehold Secondary on a cool September morning. |

By mid-morning, the SA35 crew is usually
finished for the day as seen in this October 2001 photo. Here the
train lays over in Lakehurst. |

As daylight breaks, several centerbeam
flatcars sit at the Woodhaven spur in October 2001. As you can see
by these pictures, the SA35 gets an early start on Saturday morning. |

CSX GP38-2 2746 approaches the crossing
of Route 524/547 in October 2001. Despite the heavy influence of
GP40-2s along the line, CSX 2746 continues to appear at times. |
