Interlocking Towers
West Trenton tower as seen in December 2000.  The tower is used by Septa employees and is the terminus of Septa's West Trenton Line.
Altoona Tower as built by the PRR, as it appears in August 1999.  The tower controls movement over Conrail's (now Norfolk Southern) famous Horseshoe Curve as well as the Cove Secondary.
Lincoln Tower at Metuchen was used by the PRR to control trains coming in and out of Metuchen Yard.  Today it serves as a MOW building for Amtrak.
Former Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines Woodbine tower relocated to Cold Springs, New Jersey.  Cold Springs was the terminus of the line until 1999, when work on the canal bridge was completed and trains once again served Cape May City.
PRR built Shore tower controlled the interlocking of the PRR with the PRSL.  Today, it is the junction of the NEC with NJT's Atlantic City Line as well as Conrail Shared Asset trains. 
Bridgeport swing bridge built in 1913 as seen in November 2002. 
Paulsboro's unique A-frame bridge as seen in November 2002.  The signal is new, replacing the long standing smash board at the bridge.
PRR's MG Tower as seen in October 2002.  The tower looks in great condition.  The photo was taken from inside an Amfleet car on one of the Railfest 2002 excursions.

DL&W East Stroudsburg tower as seen on a cool September 2004 night in Pennsylvania.  The tower has been going under a restoration process from the East Stroudsburg Tower Society.
Partially hidden by the trees is this tower along the CNJ north of Jim Thorpe, PA.  Photo was taken in September 2004 from the open window of a Rail-Tours train.

ALTO Tower in Altoona, PA as seen in July 2006.  The tower is still in service helping NS and Amtrak trains get up and down the mountain.

Ex-DL&W tower referred to as "Gravel Place" on the western side of East Stroudsburg.  The signal bridge still stands, but nature is taking over the tower, which is mostly hidden behind the trees.
